It’s never fun when you pull your garden furniture out from the back of your garden only to find that it has discolored or the wood has started to rot. Leaving furniture to stand outside all year round can ruin it and end up costing you a new set of furniture each and every year.

Although of course, it is advised to always store furniture within a garage or shed over the winter, you can store items under a canopy throughout the summer to preserve it through the months that you will be using it most. Using a garden canopy for storage is also ideal for when you hold BBQ’s and garden parties, especially if you’re having a late one and your too tired to clear up, just leave everything under the canopy overnight and sort it out in the morning!

On the subject of BBQ’s, when serving food outside, a canopy can reduce the amount of heat that penetrates the food due to the high UV protection, keeping it cooler for longer, it will also reduce the amount of flies and wasps that attempt to share your dinner with you!
